Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Its time for Halo to get a release every year.

What makes Halo so great, is the fact they make them last and allow players to get deep with the content. If they release one Halo every year, than the previous games are either forgotten or the audience gets split. Im happy to wait 5 years for a Halo entry. They can always add expansions which is what they are doing with Infinite.

As much as I like the Halo series, going yearly for mainline releases wouldn't do it good that much. So have to agree with most people commenting here on that.

Halo RPG

Halo Kart

Halo Smash Bros

+1

As long as Cortana is in all of them.

Nah. Just add more content to the game we have. Different threats, different missions, more stuff to find.

Halo and Call of Duty at the Olympic Games 2022.

Halo + Rabbits

Elder Scrolls: Halo

Halo Horizon

Master Chief Pro Skater

Halo: Nuts & Bolts

The Sims: Halo

Plants vs The Flood

If we are gonna be honest, one release a year just isn't enough.

I mean, if we are gonna go the boring route, yeah. They really need to pump out more campaigns though. Ideally campaigns that aren't linear either.

Halo's core gameplay is fantastic. Put that into more ambitious campaigns, people will come/cum in droves.

But I genuinely believe we need more studios working on Halo games to get more frequent releases. I believe 343 is spread too thin trying to create the total package with every release.

While they're at it, might as well make all their popular IP's yearly. Nothing could ever go wrong.
