1. Call of Duty
2. Minecraft
3. Elder Scrolls
4. Diablo
5. Halo/Forza

Maybe throw in WoW somewhere too. And if Fable is good I expect it to solidly kick Halo out the top 5.

What about Candy Crush?

Until COD synonymous with Xbox then no

Money wise I think Minecraft has been the big dog for a while, but again, it hasn't been associated with Xbox

I am hoping this increases my chances of getting a StarCraft 3.

Can you have multiple flagships? If it's at all plausible, they might end up with two (or more, if they so desire).

Halo will always be the Xbox flagship title.
Also MS own the monopoly of FPS games.
They need to do some heavy cross overs. Halo in CoD etc

I was actually thinking EA is probably very happy about these purchases being made by MS. That means more people may buy EA shooters on Playstation.

If it's XBox console exclusive, yeah. Lots of gamers are basically just COD year to year players.

Short term, it makes no sense to make COD exclusive. Long term, however... that's another story. If I were them, I would do it because down the line, it's going to pay off in spades due to the massive influx on gamers.

Well, CoD:Warzone is more active than Halo.

Wasn't Halo Infinite supposed to get a Battle Royale mode? Curious to see if acquiring the king of the genre changes any plans. Halo 5's Warzone didn't have the same impact as what CoD's Warzone.

Yes, I think its a certainty that CoD goes XB console exclusive within a few years.   Games that are already in development for PlayStation might launch there, especially because there are likely already marketing deals in place. But, I think CoD would be the last one that they would leave multiplatform in the long run. There are a huge number of gamers that basically just play call of duty. Microsoft wants those people subscribing to game pass
