Gazz said: Then again, the 360 is without a doubt the console with the most hardware issues. What Legend and Rocketpig (2 people who are not ashamed to say they prefer the 360) may consider trolling, may be considered discussing the apparent issues that keep being unsolved by MS to this very day. The reason why the 360 gets dissed this much is because the problems tha are being discussed are real. This isn't a "I have a link from 2006 where a bunch of 360's overheated" discussion, but one that is valid on this very day. In all fairness, the fact that Legend jumped on the issue lead to the creation of this topic and his attempts to silence critisism of his beloved 360 only lead to more discussion which is absolutely not in the favour of getting the 360 a more reliable image. @Bmaker: stop trying to convince Rocketpig of the fact that the Wii and PS3 have good games which he can play on a console that actually functions. Guys like him are the sole reason that MS still haven't fixed the RROD issue because they keep buying the product blindly regardless of quality or functionality. He does have a point, from a software point of view the 360 has a good library and if the quality of their hardware would have been better, I might have had one to this day. However, the quality of their software collection decreases immensely if you have a pc and aren't too fond of Halo or a sporadic rpg. Then Wii, PS3 and PC own them although much of the pc performance is also being raped by MS with their dodgy os, but that's another discussion. Edit: just pulling your legs, but in all fairness. Looking at the 30 collection and seeing what's multiplatform or released on pc (some even with higher res and added maps) the so called defense point of buying a 360 becomes pretty bleak. |
I'm not trying to convince him that BOTH have good games to play.I'm simply trying to change his mentality that the "PS3 has no games" in comparison to the Wii library. I already admitted that compared to the robust 360 library, the PS3 pales in comparison. But what I was getting at was that the PS3 in comparison to the Wii is about equal. He says "The Wii has at least 3 GREAT games" but I'm sure the three he's referring to are Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and Brawl. But guess what? You play a Mario, a Zelda, and a Smash (recently) EVERY generation!!!! I said that in my post, AND I said it was those were quality games that were in the MINORITY.
However, as much as he wants to deny it, there are GREAT games on the PS3. My top 3 would be Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, and UT3 (although timed, it has mod support for endless entertainment). And even if Metacritic doesn't have 3 PS3 only games rated 90 or above, there damn sure is a lot more games rated 80 or above on the PS3 than on the Wii. In that sense, you couldn't POSSIBLY say that the"PS3 has no games" unless of course the Wii has no games also. Sure, in your opinion, the Wii has 3 "GREAT" games, but 3 games, a library does not make
