Ha ha OMG! Could that comment be anymore generic, demeaning and exaggerated? Just FYI, I have saved alot of comments from PS3 fanboys and if I ever disclose all of them, you will really see who has 'lightbulbs' or not. How many times have I heard comments like PS3 will outsell 360 LTD by end 2008, PS3 will outsell 360 in all multiplatform games after DMC4, PS3 version of GTA4 will significantly outsell 360 version etc. etc. etc.

The 360 has better games, I say it proudly. Its not a fanboy opinion, go look at VGC million sellers and most importantly Metacritic.

XBL FTW!, I say it proudly. I have a VGC-like community on Xbox Live and achievements are addictive and cost, yea I can get 3 years Live with the extra I have to pay for a PS3, and Home isnt even released yet.

I am a gamer, I will buy the PS3 when the time is right, so I never say that PS3 sucks. But what really bugs me about your comment is that there are so many over the top PS3 fanboy comments here and so little baseless 360 comments here that you would actually say this!

I got jumped on for mentioning a problem I had on my PS3... Read around and seems to be somewhat of an issue (the PS3 all of a sudden can't seem to be able to read any discs anymore) but nothing close to RRD.

Speaking of RRD, I had it happen to my 360 (was 18 months ago so on an older model).

For both PS3 and 360, under warranty and service was ok for both (1 month wait and gave me a new machine).

Wii is the last man standing! Fingers crossed it won't die on me now...

OT: RROD should never be censored, heck alot of things should not be censored. But the thing that bugs me is that its in virtually every argument when discussing games, sales, online features, future sales, future games, etc. etc. and someone even went as far as saying MS should get out of the console business because of it. Its getting pedantic and getting thrown into arguments about other totally different things, not to mention the frequent trolling one-liners.

PS3 owners that I know have complained many times of no backward compatibility, PSN and no big games yet, and yet I would be tactful and say games will come, they might put BC back and PSN will improve hopefully, and yes I will say consider the 360, but I wont put it so blatantly and even if I say its better, I will explain why.

 Aww come on, you're not even bashing the system half as much as the people who choose it. I don't consider myself a fanboy but I still take offense to this. I may not be the brightest bulb ever but I'm sure not dim.

 

Is it completely unreasonable to think that person A. would think one system has the best games while person B. would think the other system has the best games? Neither one is wrong, just have different tastes and opinions.

Wow - you created this thread for what?!

OT - Gazz, you got jumped on because you came into a thread where a guy was asking for help with his 360. You came in, made some biased comments that were completely off-topic and pretty much derailed the thread afterward. What in the devil did you expect? Some members to send you flowers and a box of chocolates?

It's not that the RROD is a sensitive subject - but I believe it's exaggerated to a point. However, it still happens. Seriously, I do think a quite a few folks THINK they have the RROD when in fact a cable is loose and the 360 will give a similar signal that something is wrong.

RROD exists? Yeah - but a few folks have the masses thinking it happens to every 360 and it's not the case. And besides - have you EVER had any good things to say about the 360? I thinks not.

Buried as inaccurate. Have a nice day.

I'm sorry your life sucks and that you have to take it out on random people over the internet.. its ok, don't commit suicide, I'm sure your life will get better when you move out of your parents basement and quit your part time fast food restaurant job...

Another RRoD Thread? Win!

The damage control for people who support MS is out of control. Seriously. You've got people asking if you've really seen RRoD, like it doesn't exist; You've got people that say that PS2 DRE > RRoD; and then people say to 'just call MS', so the thread can go on no longer, and the subject can die.

Then the anti-MS people are trying to bring it out into the light, tout the 33 percent failure thing, and bash MS. It's so awesome.
