What's your favorite racing game from the Sonic franchise, and why?

It's close between Sonic All Stars Racing and its sequel, Transformed.

The titular feature does add some extra variety and novelty to the latter, but the former had more tracks.

Both are excellent.

I'm going with Transformed , I never got to play Sonic Riders.

I have the first Sonic Riders on PS2. It's fun, but you know, not a lot of content...

Obvious answer is Transformed. Plenty of content, amazing visuals, great track designs, cool ideas and great character selection with bonus characters depending on the platform.

Transformed. Also, my fave Kart racing game ever made. Transformed is such a great celebration of SEGA's golden era. I didn't even bother with the recent team game as I have zero interest in an all Sonic cast.

I liked the first sonic all-stars racing better than transformed, but both are easily the best in the poll. Team Sonic Racing isn't terrible either, but not as good.
