PSNow could play PS5 games on any display with internet if Sony so much develop it that way. But sure let's wait for an announcement. |
Well if PSNow was a solution, Sony would never be talking to Microsoft about Azure server. I don't know why you keeping bringing up PSNow. |
Azure basically only would provide coverage and perhaps an upgrade on processing power over the infraestructure Sony have, so I have no Idea what you think would change for PSNow because of that in any mysterious way.
PSNow had been working on PC and Smartphones in the past if I'm not wrong, so yes Sony can upgrade it instead of creating a new service (PSNow allows both streaming, downloading, ownership of the games or playing some that are made "free" for subscribers last I checked), but sure they can create a new one.
The quote is from this year so new initiative so it's not PSnow:
Jim Ryan Says Sony is Working on a ‘Unique and Only on PlayStation’ Cloud Strategy Utilizing its Partnership With Microsoft THURSDAY, APRIL 22, 2021
We know that Microsoft wants Xcloud on future TV Apps; so Sony probably looking at similar solutions.
