i think a bit early

Untill the rate of slaes slows down at at least a borderline alarming rate I do not see a reason to lower the price.

 That has been the typical approach but i think you will admit that the Wii has broken the typical approach tothe way people approach consoles.  But i forgot that smash was not yet released in PAL so i guess no need for pricecut.

Nintendo doesn't need a price cut until at least January '09 , they're competing against themselves so the benefits of cutting the cost's would severley outweight the disadvantages.

Considereing this last week the Wii sold a tad over 140K I don't think there is a need to do a pricecut.

Here in Australia at the EB store in fountain Gate shopping Centre, the Wii is regularly on constant re-order. I often see signs up Stating the Wii is on order.

So while it's selling so Well, I don't think a price cut is even in consideration. And like Rath said, take a look at the DS, not a single pricecut for that in how many years?

 It's not in Germany.  My main reason for hoping for a price cut is i want to pick up two of them this summer so i can use them while i am at home.

No way does it need a price cut. It still wins consistently even if it isn't selling out. Just last week it came close to selling PS3/360 combined. Once sales start really dropping then maybe. At most i'd say new colors could be put out.

It just sold more than 360 WW in Others alone and you say it needs a price cut? Not only that, it's also getting big games coming and Brawl will probably a Holiday treat for Others?

Also, Wii colors? No price cut until Q2 09 imo. Maybe later. The Wii has established a name for itself. The name "Wii" is now like the name "Playstation".

No , it's quite cheap and selling by the bucket load.
