Since Sony now own the IP, a port seems inevitable and relatively easy way to help fill in the second half of the year. Would be super curious to see how it does on Playstation and whether it might revive the franchsie

Hate or love Insomniac (I certainly don't care for them), but they're such an efficient studio. Constant stream of highly polished games, a reworked Sunset Overdrive in a world that's obsessed with Fortnite can do really well.

The odds of a sequel seem slim though.

Man, I loved this game on Xbox. I think I went back and played it within the last three months, as well. I'd love to see it continue. Xbox fans really dropped the ball when it came to supporting games like this.

When I saw wasn't super excited, even gifted for a friend that have Xbox but he didn't play. Well if it is budget priced I may give it a try.

MS owns the IP actually. Believe they can make a sequel, but that is it.

Nope they don't, not even when they developed.

The reason it launched on Xbox instead of PS was exactly because Sony wanted to own the IP to pay for the development, MS wanted only the exclusivity. Even when the purchase of Insomniac was revealed it was said that the SO IP was from Insomniac.

If Sony trademarked another company property it would be a big issue.
