MHR, as expected, sold very well. From what I read, digital sales accounted for about 35%, which should bring total sales to 2 million units. This means that it was a first week very similar to that of Pokémon Sword / Shield in Japan.

Maybe more, Famitsu doesn't track digital store only and Nintendo Store.

Capcom understocked this game. 94% sell through at the time means there is no copy left to sell physically. Digital must be much higher than usual. Very good sales overal.

Well I guess it's a game about Quintuplets in Summer

Capcom, Square Enix, and other understocked the physical version.

Only Konami goes with a good amount. 

The Switch reaches 19 million in Japan, and still keep its lead over last year. That's huge

One other note: Switch sales passed 19M LTD in Japan this week. (I miss Marth and his table when he did these posts!)

Edit - so SKMBlake posted this right before me. Great minds think alike! But my point about Marth's table still stands so I'll keep this post up.

Very similar result to Monster Hunter World too.
