I think you should add Age of Camility in the Most Disappointing Game List.
A disaster game, because everyone lies saying the game is a prequel, WTF!

wait, it isn't a prequel? I'm confused.

This is not a spoiler since it's the opening cutscene. Like many Zelda games with split timelines. This is an alt timeline. BOTW is the timeline the champions and Link fail. AOC is the timeline they succeed 100 years before BOTW. Simple as that.

Going off topic slightly I guess, but since you're probably among the only other people here who played Call of the Sea, might I ask which ending you chose, just out of curiosity?

Spoiler!
I went with going back to Harry, which eventually leads to the same road anyways.  It's kinda weird because I like how well they built up the emotional importance of the binary choice but dislike how the second-half of the ending cutscene is recycled.  What about you?
Spoiler!
Yeah, I did the same thing the first time. I mean I always go the analogous route. Did so in Beyond: Two Souls, made the analogous "wrong" choice first in Life is Strange just to spite the developers, etc. That the game's main characters make just such a choice is likewise a big part of why I like the endings of Gone Home and The Last of Us (referring to the original) so much. Guess I'm just more of a humanist than a utilitarian. Like you, I'm always a bit disappointed when ostensibly big choices like this don't seem to have much consequence in the end. But I will say that the presentation thereof actually made me think a little at least, unlike in so many other games.
