So do you also want all games that are included on bundles for new buyers be included in your library as well?

Sony is doing a promotion to attract PS5 purchase by offering 20 games for free if they have a valid PS+

Loaning, selling, gifting access to people that don't have a PS5 is essentially either doing charitable work with another person pockets (in this case Sony and devs) or is profiting from other people property (which mind you is a crime).

Not sure why you are defending them though. Some have sold as much as 300 reclaim for PS Collection.

When did I defend the people selling? I straight up said in that post you quoted that Sony is in the right for banning the sellers. I'm defending those who are helping out friends to get access to it.

It may be a promotion, but it's a bad idea. You don't give some of your subscribers access to something that excludes other subscribers who are paying the same amount, that is just not right.

It’s roughly the equivalent of pack-in/bundled games.

I don’t see why it is so hard for you to grasp this.

Oh wait...

My buddy is getting a PS5. Would it be ok if i were to logged into my account on his PS5 just to claim the free game and never download them until I get my own PS5. Then afterwards my buddy can then delete my account/format or watever, and then he can create his own account and claim the games after?

I just want to claim in case Sony decides to pull the plug on the collection before I get my PS5 years later.

It is still against the TOS and could generate a ban, but I think it is very unlikely that it would occur for either of you. Sony isn't microscope monitoring this, they are more likely going against people that done several times in a short period.

Heres is a thing... among all those small words in PS5 user contract sony most likely predicted this situation and created defenses for this.
That said... Did i get banned for sharing these advantages on good will, just 2 or 3 friends, without knowing possible implications and with no personal gains? If yes, than Sony will need to answer for this, there is space for discussion here, but...
if, for example, my PS5 have been used on registering +200 people! There are clear signs of fraud here, sufficient to demonstrate abusive practice from users, especially if it is identified that the PS5 owner had some kind of personal gain. (for example, received money to guarantee access to PS5 games)
It is complex, it depends on the user's good faith ( for example, Year 2007, I bought a PS3 to use as a server, clearly good faith, mainly because Sony has no right to define "how I use the console"). In cases of abusive pratice, Sony must undoubtedly have valid mechanisms to ban users supported by a "valid final user agreement".

Well it isn't exactly good will to give away content that isn't yours to give. That person on good will could buy 3 copies of each of the 20 games and gift to these friends an that wouldn't break TOS or law, but when you use other people property to gift it isn't good will.

Your TOS is clear about account sharing and taking advantage of the system for anything that isn't allowed.

They are helping friends by putting the burden on Sony, that is still a break of TOS.

You may think it is a bad idea, that is your on opinion, still promotions are a legal thing and abusing them isn't. They aren't paying the same amount, the subscribers that are buying PS5 are expending 400-500 more. Again you can buy a console in one store or in other, both have same price, one of them have 2 bundled games and the other have none, that doesn't make the one that have none anything wrong.

Ban these losers. I support this. It's a ps5 catalogue, end of story. Cheap ps4 players selling or buying this are idiots.

Plus the games in the collection are older now anyways and can be bought on the cheap if PS4 players want them. Especially this month where quite a few of them are on sale for 10 bucks.

People are entitled.... "if I pay plus I also have rights to this so if the company don't give them I steal".

Sony is the one immoral for restricting the collection to PS5 owners only. Everyone is paying the same price and the games work on both consoles. Banning people was also a shitty thing to do.

Not at all, Sony gives you the games because you bought a PS5.

And that was very clearly marketed.

Bullshit, the other PS+ owners still get excactly what they joined the service for and people that pay the additional price of a PS5 get access to the collection titles. Buying them btw costs less than a PS5. Sony could've made the collection titles arbitrarily only run on PS5s, but instead it's the PS4 versions, so ppl with access to them can play them on their PS4s aswell and nobody gives a damn if ppl share the collection to a few friends/family.

Sony rightly takes action if someone abuses that to sell/give access to dozens or hundreds of people.

It never ceases to amaze me how much people are socialists when it comes to other people money/expenses. You can't gift or do charity with what is from another one, you can only do it with what is yours. What these people have done even if isn't legally called it is a form o theft. If you want to do it, it is your choice, but don't claim good will or anything in that line to cover yourself.
