Congratulations, it is good to see all three of the major players doing well. It is going to be a very interesting generation for sure.

Would the "heavily medicated half awake" be the reason you didn't answer my question? Let me ask it again. You've complained" but your topic title and opening post don't correspond" twice. How do they not relate? |
It is pretty clear what he misread.
Biggest as in physical size of the console.
Well it was to be expected.
The perfect storm, COVID-19 and people being stuck at home has sent the world bonkers in everything.
Go look at trading card sales compared to the year before.
People are trying to find new ways to be entertained.
So the tourism and hospitality may be suffering, but collectables and entertainment is up. Great time to be a collector lol.

Considering in the pandemic most people will keep on buying or preordering online, patiently waiting for their console to become available and shipped home or to the store they chose, many scalpers could have a nasty (and totally deserved) surprise this time.

*facepalm* Oh. My bad. I get it now. Basically, just the same 2M+ stock allotment for the first two weeks, just spread across multiple regions? |
Yep. Your point have a lot of merit for perhaps after 6 month analysis, but for launch well it doesn't make much difference.
