Astro is looking down on Sackboy and saying "Hmph. Pathetic."

Is there dlc that lets you wear an Astrobot costume? Because that would be awesome!

That is a fair point.  Astro is making Sackboy a bargain bin for me, given Astro is free and seems like a solid game.

Metacritic.com Score is up to 80 now.

All 4 Sony published PS5 launch games have scored 80 or higher. Off to a great start for the generation!

Did they fix the floatiness?

I dunno, I like plat formers, yet after playing so many mediocre user levels in that art style, I can't get excited for this. It's one of those launch games I would have picked up at launch, yet now I probably never will.

Another question, can you use DS4 on PS5 or do you need to buy an extra 3 Dual Sense controllers to all play together? Those things are expensive here.

i've been very open about my dislike for sony/sumo digital's handling of LBP3 and how that essentially killed the franchise but i'm so glad that reading the reviews this one seems very good for the most part, most of the cons i've read are that it doesn't do much new on its own and is slightly easy but i'm fine with that as long as it's still solid

i'm just glad there's a foundation for where they can take the series next now

I would guess that If you buy the PS4 version and play through BC without updating you may use the ds4, but If It is ps5 version you won't bê able tô use ds4.

At least it's not Knack.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Would I be called crazy here if I said this is the best looking PS5 game so far? I know it looks pretty much the same on base PS4, but It's SO gorgeous. The game itself reminds me of Super Mario 3D World. Would love to play it, but I'm poor.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Seems the new title is off to a good start.

I think it would be wise for Sony to look at Sackboy as their co-op platformer (all the mainline titles are 4 players) and to have Astro be more a SP experience.

Not a bad Idea. I would say that the biggest Gap in Sony lineup for several gens have been couch co-op. Sure some platformers were made but that seems something Sony doesn't remember tô much.
