Guys do you know if there has been a stock issue with the PS5 or is demand just not as big anymore? Cause if it's a stock issue it might sell better than we think in the future. However, it seems like Sony is already ready to move on from PS4 so I don't think they'll prioritize stocking the PS4 in the future and heavily push for the consumer for PS5.

For PS4, its beginning to look more difficult for it to hit 130M lifetime, im 2020 PS4 will likely sell around 8Million which would put it at 118M by the end of this year. After, I find it difficult to see the PS4 selling more than 6 million in years after. 8 expect around 125M sold. Which is an amazing success Sony should be proud of.

I guess you are asking about inventory issues for PS4. We have heard on some months of shortage of PS4, but I don`t think that is really the case. Most likely the demand is on its end.

Hardware sales are slowing down, but damn the software sales are massive and PS plus member are also on the rise.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

The PS network growth over this generation has been phenomenal.

7.9m subs 2014
46m subs 2020

I'm curious how much charging for online access to game like Warzone, Apex Legends and Fortnite would have boosted their membership? Or if the decision to allow free play swayed more users to buy their console, or simply increased the amount of DLC bought? Obviously a huge amount of revenue to miss out on. I wonder what the rational is.

Sony making bank from all their divisions. Is their profit for Q2 around 4 Billion or am I remembering wrong?

Looks like the PS4 will settle at 120 - 125 Million lifetime. Sony could have been more aggressive with price cuts but it is what it is.

no ps5 forecast?

Sony expect to outsell PS4 on same timeframe so over 7.4M until march. Also more pre-orders in 12h than PS4 on 12 weeks.
