Forums - Sony Discussion - PS5's First Year Games Lineup Looks Amazing!

The lineup is pretty meh, none of the games mentioned in the OP is going to entice me to buy a PS5 anytime soon.

I'm still hoping beyond hope ME: Remaster gets a changed decent ending. I think if they want to reboot the franchise, that's what they need to do. We want to keep exploring the universe we grew to love, not go to a whole new one, but the ending to 3 made that impossible.

Also I bought Horizon like 10 months ago, lost it, and just found it. So, excited to finally try it. Maybe that will make me hyped for Forbidden West.

Yeah, if they do an alternate ending like a directors cut, I will throw money at my screen. Like the series was almost perfect but that ending lul.. EA really should continue the franchise as a sequel and not a spinoff or prequel. I mean I liked Andromeda for what it was, and despite the criticisms it was a decent game but I think people want Shep back.

And the same thing happened to me lol. Will have to repick it up again but from what I played it was great. There's still a lot of time until the next game so time to catch up xP

The problem with Andromeda, based on the first 30 minutes I played, was that it didn't grab me in the first 30 minutes I played. Which was also the last 30 minutes I played.

The first one started out pretty intense right away, establishing a clear conflict within minutes. Andromeda just kind of plopped you and is like "uhhh go do some shit I guess". I obviously can't evaluate the whole game fairly, but it didn't grab me.

The ending very much had an "oh shit this thing is due on monday" vibe to it. The extended one was better, but didn't address the main issues.

Nope no good at all but with the addition one game it could be perfect now who can guess that game?

I know what you're getting at, but I'm pretty sure Nintendo has the rights to Codename S.T.E.A.M. and won't let them do a PS5 port, no matter how much money Sony throws at them.

True it felt rushed. I totally forgot they already added an extended ending to ME3 because of the backlash from fans of the series.

And yeah part of the problem Andromeda had was its story. It was a slow burner with none of the immediacy, danger of the first one. Plus the new cast were pretty forgettable not to mention annoying - yes, Phoebe still sucks.. just like Vanille from FFXIII.

In any case will replay the games with Joy. Even if they don't change the story.. Just some updated graphics, improved load times and bug fixes will do me just fine. Anything else is a bonus :D

Codename S.T.E.A.M. is always the right answer... Ummmmm... unless the question is what game is not awesome and underrated.

ME2 was one of my favorite games, and ME3 was brilliant up to the last few minutes. Like literally. The

Spoiler!
scene between Shepard and Anderson is like a dagger right in the feels.

But I really just can't play it anymore. Like... I can't take a poor Shepard through all of that knowing it's going to end that way. I had a male and femshep file, and I couldn't even bring myself to finish Femshep. I actually just did the Citadel DLC and stopped like that's the ending.

Zone of the Enders 3

Skies of Arcadia 2

Omega Boost remake

Jet Set Radio 3

Virtua Fighter 6

Metal Gear Rising 2

VanQuish 2

Binary Domain 2

Take your pick of any one of those. :P

Took me 70 hours to beat. So I guess more like 10% cutscenes.

Thats definitely not the average time to beat the game though lol

Well, as Runa and I were discussing, a near completionist run would be required to take full account of all  the content offered. The average user skipping sidequests and other content, does not make them nonexistant.

BEEP wrong answer -8pts  so far we have JWeinCom leading with minus 1 from Leynos with a pitiful minus 8 , so it looks like such an easy question needs a clue , hint it's very announcement became a meme .
