Hardly. KZ2 had brilliant multiplayer.
MW2, World at War (Zombies), Halo 2, KZ2 and now Warzone would be my overall favourite console FPS multiplayer games over the years.

If you say so. How many multiplayer modes/playlists does it have? I remember the graphics and the campaign being praised, not so much the multiplayer. I certainly would bet that Halo 3 has a overall better package.

On the contrary, the multiplayer was highly praised on release.
"Killzone 2 boasts a single-player campaign that is every bit as much fun as the multiplayer - and that is truly a rarity."
"An addictive multiplayer mode"
"The multiplayer mode you can play for months combined make Killzone 2 a true FPS-classic"
"But perhaps the strongest segment of the game is the extremely deep multiplayer"
"A compelling "Call of Duty"-style multiplayer"
"The Multiplayer side is equally strong (even more)"
"The multiplayer and overall stunning presentation should earn Killzone 2 a spot on any gamer’s shelf"
"Excellent multiplayer"
"As a delicious dessert you'll get the multiplayer, which is so addictive that it almost turns into the most important part of the game"
"The multiplayer is perfect"
It had 32 players, 14 maps, 7 classes, 5 game types, bots, clans, abilities, tournaments.
That's entirely subjective though. I think KZ2 multiplayer was better than Halo 3's. (I think Halo 2's multiplayer was better than KZ2)
