Well, I guess it is a bit of a sudden transition then. If we knew of any other GOW2 or GT6 situations guess we would know by now.

There is currently like 900+ games comeing to the PS4 still.
So its not like it'll be with new games.

Sony 1st party ones? Im honestly not sure.
Sony are set on moveing onto the next gen with games.

Nomura talking about FF7? CG reveal for GoW? PE remake? The license doesn't even belong to SE and I doubt they will pay to use it again.

I doubt buy it.

The 10th Aug leak sounds a lot more believable, granted it's also stacked with games so I don't know. But most of what is mentioned seems very viable, to some degree.

Personally I just hope they show off the new UI and features connected to PS5 software.

If that was a bet you would have lost. SE registered the trademark back in summer 2018 and that would mean the game is at least 2 years in development( most likely more because trademarks are not done initially to keep development a secret) and its reveal would not be farfetched.

Well receiving TLOU2, FFVIIR and GoT few months away from PS5 releasing instead of making it launch with PS5 like MS is doing with Halo and Nintendo done with Zelda is quite similar situation. And I can say I'm plenty satisfied with the last year of PS4. For me the best year in gaming so far.

Honestly price, pre order date, and official release is all I want. More games announcements and features are just a plus.

There's an Official Silent Hill Twitter that was recently made  and Konami has linked to it,

Insiders are constantly confirming that it is coming. And with State of Play rumoured to be on the 6th, this could very well be shown very soon.
