SMT3 HD is coming out October 29th in japan. A shame that they couldnt get a global release for that one as well

SMT V AND SMT 3. Both coming out in 2021 with a GLOBAL launch. That was wonderful.

This was awful. I really wanted confirmation for SMTV, so I'm happy sure; but not only is it not 2020, it doesn't even have a date. And how long does it take to port a gen 6 title and up-res to HD? They couldn't even have that ready lol?

It has a 2021 date? What do you mean they couldnt have SMT3 ready? Do we know when they started working on it? Their team is ovbiously working on SMTV and SMT3 is a small side project. I dont see how any SMT fan would be disappointed with this

Atelier Ryza 2 was also confirmed in the Japanese direct and is releasing later this year. I wish this was in the English version as I found the original game charming and would like an english announcement for the sequel

Well it's not just about SMT fans. As I said, I'm happy that we got confirmation on SMTV. What's awful is that they didn't show any relevant upcoming games for this year. This was a terrible direct.

Edit: Also 2021 isn't a date, it's just a year. A date requires a day and a month. The fact they didn't include either, and showed very little footage, can easily mean it's as late as 31st December 2021 right now, which means it can easily be delayed to 2022. Glad it's still alive, but hardly makes me over the moon right now.

My OG message was in regards to just the SMT part

SMT 3 HD is also releasing on the PS4. Makes me wonder why this is multi plat but SMTV is an exclusive. Atlus sure is weird

I'm satisfied. Wasn't expecting much and I got SMT3 and SMT5, so I have no complaints.

Well this isn't a SMT thread, nor was the Direct titled 'Shin Megami Tensei Showcase', so not sure how I'm meant to just assume that.

Thanks, Aleluya
