No, I don't get the message because what you're saying doesn't make any sense.

As unpopular as Xbox One is, there were at least 14k people that cared enough to buy one. According to your logic an Xbox One at €99 would go unnoticed, despite that not even happening at its current price. That makes no sense.

Sure, PS4 outsold Switch last week in Europe with 103k vs 75k. How that means that a Switch at €99 would go unnoticed in Europe, and France in particular (a country where the Switch has done well so far) is beyond me.

The 169EU Xbox One is sold with 3 games, as you can see on the link of mediamarkt germany, biggest game retailer in the country, so basically it is less than 99 for the customer, as a system. Still trying to convince hope with the 99 argument ?

An all-digital system that nobody wanted ever anyway.

One could just as well come with a Vita to prove that Playstation doesn't sell.

Yeah, that's why the Switch is sold out everywhere at 300€ or more in Europe. Oh, wait...

It is available on all stores in Germany and being outsold by PS4, fake arguements without receipts are no arguments. I have a relative working on a retailer shop and there is NO NS shortage atm, only less demand than PS4, based on what he told me.

During a pandemic and so late in its life and still can cause this type of fight, incredible.

Xbox One is sold for 199 EU with videogames in some stores in Germany and in whole of Europe it only has 14,000 weekly sales. So, yes a 99eu Xbox One would pass un-noticed. As for Switch, it is only 3 years old, sold at the same price as PS4 in many stores, yet PS4 outsells it in Europe. I hope you get the message.

No it wouldn't

Stop being silly

There is a huge difference between 199 and 95€. And the effect increses if people know there are only limited numbers available.

X1 SAD was sold for 150 last holiday and didn't cause a ruckus.

With 50% of the sales being digital and several people excited for PS5 without disc. And in fact the Xbox SAD sold better than the regular Xbox during the holidays in europe or at least that was the report here in VGC at the time.

Meanwhile my sister had to wait a full month to finally be the one that was first in line to be able to get a switch.

Your relative that works in ONE shop does have little saying if there is a switch shortage or not in WHOLE europe.

Wow, the relative doesn't count, but your sister is proof of a continent-wide shortage?

Subtract the entirety of Switzerland from your shortage list as Switches have been available everywhere for months now (probably since launch weeks which did see some draught periods)..

Do i claim there is a shortage in whole Europe?

My point was that in different areas different shortages exist,so it is silly that a personal observation like the one made would count for a whole continent.

Uh, if the Switch would be 99 euros people would tear the skin off each other to get one. Especially in France.

Is there anything that doesn't cause crowd chaos in France?
