Honestly, this is FUCKING HYPE.

The main titles keep pushing the series foward and the First Perspective keeps it fresh. The Reamkes keeps the third person perspective and also keeps the series fresh.It's a win win situation.

And man, how much I love snow landscapes and enviroment in games. I don't know why, but it just clicks with me.Fucking day one. I think this has the potential to be the best RE game.

Plus, was that the spanish carachter from RE 4 in the trailer? I feel like RE 8 is going to be in many ways, a direct sequel to RE 4.Both in terms of tematics, world design and story too.

I kinda thought it was the RE4 Remake at one point. Looks great though.

DAY ONE. CAPCOM IS BACK BABY!

Looks reaaaaly interesting, the framerate worries me a bit though

I pretty much avoid playing most FPS execpt for the Borderlands games and a few other titles. So I'm skipping this like I did RE7. Hopefully they annouce a RE4 or RE5 remake soon or a Code Name Veronica remake.

I really liked Resident Evil VII. It was scary, and it had a good mix of combat and puzzles.

Looking forward for more info.

First person and following a character from a game that put me right off...

I guess between this and the rumours of REmake 4 out there, I guess I'm to hop off this Resi train from here on out. It feels like the franchise is going in the opposite direction for me, ah well. Hopefully there will be some other AAA horror game out there, that's like RE and has a consistent universe (that isn't DS, before anyone says).

Honest question, why would you be put off by RE 4 Remake?

Has it more to do with not wanting to replay a game you have played before, or just not liking RE 4?

Animal Crossing RE?

I just wasn't a fan of the whole Plagas deal, as well as the QTE's. Resi to me is Resi 1-3, Code V, Outbreak, and the first half of 6.

I've played 4 before, but it definitely wasn't one of my faves. 5 was alright for co-op, but it's story, and again QTE's I felt were over the top and silly, as well as Chris having godlike strength. 8 looks like it's making Chris as edgier person than he was in the second half of 6, it's like Capcom cannot keep one character consistent for more than one game, they've always got to change up a character per instalment, and it just wrecks character lore and personality for me. 

Like, in the movies, we had Wesker acting like a temp good guy, but then he backstabbed Alice, which I saw was coming, but Paul WS Anderson doesn't really know Wesker all that well, and Resi 5 showed that Wesker isn't the type to buddy up to anyone, he's a user. 

I'd dare say KH does a better job at keeping Sora consistent than Capcom does for Chris/Jill.
