91 reviews and still at 96. Looking good, but I think it might drop to 95.

Saying that my copy has been dispatched! Haven't been so excited in a game in a long time (ND always deliver).

Down to 95 now, which is extremely good nowadays.

And I expect to drop to 94 once game releases officially!!

And why wait for that, exactly? The people spreading the leaks, ranting about the studio's work ethics and about the high critic scores will be the first people to go and vote 0s and 1s. Almost all of them will never play the game.

Some of them will even score 3s and 4s only for it to come off as a real score, 2 hours after the game's release. People should do themselves a service and stay far away from user reviews for this game, mostly. I will respect someone's opinion only after having full confidence in the fact they actually played the game.

Yep. Just saw the ending and other stuff. Really curious to see user ratings and reactions, even from the most radical defenders of the game.

Speaking of user scores, how long will it take for the bigger gaming sites to implement a system similar to rottentomatoes'? If you need to provide proof for having watched a movie, cost of a ticket being 10-15 dollars depending on the theatre, why not having to provide proof for a 60 dollars(or more) videogame before having your opinion influence others' purchase decision?

Because "journalists" nowadays are nothing more than activists, because they need to rely on a good relationship with the companies, fear of twitter mob and etc. "Journalists" today represents only a portion of the gamerbase and usually with a very close mindset. When the game is released and people from all ages, genders, political and economic backgrounds experience the game then we have a full view of how it is received.

This is why for me user score is much more representative of a game than what the "critics" say.

And yet earlier you mentioned you had seen the ending, while alluring to the fact the game will be very divisive between the fans and the fact that the critic reviews for the game are just a facade. You saw a cutscene and that is representative of the entire game for you, because you didn't like it. You think user scores will be more representative because there will be plenty of fake low ratings, thus validating your opinion of the ending.

Honestly, did you have any intention of playing the game before spoiling the ending to yourself?

Yes I had as the first game is one of my favorite games ever, with a special place in my heart. A game I would recomend to anyone to experience rather they liked games or not.

When the first traillers started to be released I was a little disappointed but still trusted naughty dog. As time went by I justbrealised the game wasnt be what I expected. When the first 2 hour leak was released I watched it and confirmed what I thought.

It wasnt one cutscene or a couple of screenshots as Druckmann and Nolan liednto the audience. 2 hours of gameplay with a lot of cutscenes.

I though I was still going to play it but much later on, would never give 60 pounds for it.

This week the ending leaked and other scenes and Im baffled. Not going to play it anymore and it impresses me a lot so many 10's for this game. For me the review from Skill Up sums it perfectly.

Hence why im curious about the public opinion vs critics opinion on this one.

A lot of people seem to bring this review up but the majority are ignoring the fact SkillUp stated very recently he didn't enjoy the first game that much either. And when comparing the two, he stated that the reason for him disliking part 2 more was that the first game at least had somewhat of a more light nature, a narrative less dark and more filled with hope. How does that sum it up to you perfectly, a supposedly BIG fan of the first game, in correlation to everything else you said?

Besides, if it's true the first game is one of your favorites of all time, why would you watch ALL of the leaks, including the ending?
