They don't need to give the game for them to have Tak supporting the game, they may hire him as a consultor or even just ask for the key points that were missing. But sure if they want they can give away the game for remake and launch on Switch only, just think it is unlikely.

They can't hire him unless he leaved Monolith

Do he have a contract that prohibits him from participating in any activity outside of that company?

Can you show me where Nintendo let a 1st party studio figurehead work on a game for competing platforms while still employed with them?

None doing it doesn't prove it is forbidden, thus I asked if his contract prohibit it (which is quite a common thing, mine say I can't work for a competing company, but at the same time the labour law in the country prohibit work contract to prohibit working for other companies).

I'm just saying if a Xenogears remake is ever going to happen, Xenogears fans would only want Tak working on it. I didn't see them throw a fit when Monolith was sold to Nintendo. My Xeno series friends which were traditionally Playstation owners Just bought a Nintendo platform to play Xenoblade. I did see some of them throw a fit when FF came to Xbox 360 lol. Since we live in an era of exclusive deals. I could see it being exclusive. I don't care if it was on Xbox, PS, or Switch. I just want it, but like any Xeno fan. Not without Taks involvement and I doubt Nintendo would ever let them work on another platform.

Don't get me wrong I would have no problem if they made it exclusive to Switch, I just said that would be hard to see they locking down an exclusivity for pertuity.

Easy. Silent Hill. That franchise needs a revival. Simply too good not to.
