I don't know i just saw that on twitter and resetera. But still i don't think it will take over a month to have a restock since production in China is quickly recovering.

What makes you think that China is quickly recovering?

Foxconn, who manufacture the Switch in China, said they expected to resume normal operations by the end of March:

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

It will take a little time to get them shipped out around the world. But hopefully stock will be back to normal by the end of the month.

Seems like PS4 sales are finally down significantly, will it remain like that?

They have a good slate of games coming up that should push it back up some.  It won't return to 2019 levels but these lows probably won't stay that low.

It's also going to depend a lot on PS5.  Many potential PS4 buyers are holding off because the new console is supposedly right around the corner.  But new information is suggesting it might get delayed until next year.  So you get 2 scenarios.  If Sony heavily markets PS5 and it gets a release date this year, PS4 will stay kind of low.  But if PS5 gets delayed, PS4 may perk back up a bit in the mean time.

Given the current global crisis, Sony are probably running the math to figure out what will help them the most financially....so any guesses, as well grounded as they may be, could get blindsided by this pandemic.

Yeah, I wouldn't have a clue how long it takes between stock leaving the factory and making it to shelves all around the world but hopefully the constant shortages of the last few months will be sorted out soon. I'm very interested to see how Switch does when it no longer has to contend with stock constraints, seeing how well it's doing even with them.

I'm not sure how long it takes either. It also depends on how well all the transportation sectors are running. You have the container ships, ports, and trucks.

2 weeks to 1 month (remember PS4 launch and they shipping by air because of Xmas).

But with covid, who knows.

I've been wondering if any platform holder would move to air dropping.  It's more expensive but we're seeing a spike in demand which may give them the incentive to pay it.  Then again, can they even air drop right now?  To be a market analysts right now...bump that.

Oil prices have dropped a lot and there isn't much demand for flying. It is possible it wouldn't be too expensive to do.
