Forums - Gaming Discussion - Feature: The 10 Worst-Selling Consoles of All Time

The old Atari consoles: Atari 5200 and Atari 7800 bombed big time in console sales.

I am glad they didn't put Ps3 up there

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

After the Master System and the Megadrive, Sega had no bussiness making hardware anymore, the sales and support alone suggests as much.
They are stellar software dev's though, and they're HW failure spurred a lot more programming for other companies which benefits us all in the end I believe!

Lol.. Sega owned the list. Luckily my cousin never bought any SEGA stuff.

I own a Saturn, Dreamcast, Virtual Boy, 3DO, and Jaguar. No mention of 7800 huh? Nor the Neo Geo Pocket Color... two add-ons? This list screams of bias and bogus.

No Ngage? WTF?

The dreamcast is the best failure the industry ever had. Its game library are still awesome, even though it was on the market for such a short time. No wonder sega was in a major funk for so many years after its demise. I mean they did almost everything right, they had great games in a variety of genres and great technology.

I had the Mega CD as I was a masive Mega Drive Fan. I got a lot of play from it, I was the envy of my mates who all came round to play Night Trap & Sewer Shark all the time & it had a Shinning Force Game that was the greatest news to me as a big fan of the mega drive games.

Sonic was awesome although I never owned it. The problem was always memory, if I remember right they always said they would release a way to save games but it never came ( Wii Hard Drive ) So once you had a few items saved that was it.

I wanted a 32X but never got one just as well in hindsight.

The Apple Pippen when right past me, it's the first time I've come across it.

Apple Pippen huh. I kind of want one now!

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

If the Neo Geo sold more than the Dreamcast, I will purposely bite my own ass! There's no way. No. Way.

Check out the "worst selling handhelds" link in the original post, too. "Six AA batteries in TWENTY MINUTES"(!) It quickly becomes obvious why Nintendo rules handheld gaming. You gotta wonder what some of those executives were thinking when they okay-ed some of those portables.
