I wonder what late night shows will do now. Will people still tune in without the Trump bashing? I think the Trump hate kept many of them going. I mean people even tuned in to watch Seth Meyers regularly for Christ sake.

So you think these shows started in 2016?

No, people just started caring about them around that time. Colbert and Meyers were struggling. Fallon was because he wasnt very political. Then he started talking about Trump and his audience grew. Conan and Kimmel will still be fine though. They are actually funny.

What's your point, though? Of course more people will visit the circus when they get one of the best clowns.

Sounds like a huge problem.

My point is that I wonder what late night shows will talk about now that Trump wont be president. Thats all...

Assuming everything continues down this trajectory, which would lead to a Biden win, the Republican Party is going to have a serious decision on their hands regarding their ties and relation to Trump.
Because if he loses, Trump’s not going to bow out quietly. And neither is his base. So we will see whether they continue to support him or if they turn on him something fierce as they turn to a new candidate.

The answer to that is that Republicans still exist. Not as great clowns as Trump but still entertaining enough for the circus.

12K+ in PA now. Looks pretty likely we'll be outside the mandatory recount zone. Biden should win by 2-3%.

Sure, Trump lost but the real losers are the late night hosts....

Well forget it then. Was just a thing I was wondering about. People are so serious in here.lol

You won. Calm down.

This reminds me of the people concerned about getting haircuts during the pandemic.

I was wondering if video games would be delayed. Sorry for not worrying about war and death all the time.
