Think what you want. Many see no fathomable reason to vote for him...here’s a hint. It’s not as simple as “Trump bad grrr”. It’s about policies that differ with Republicans and Democrats.

Dems want to fully open the borders unchecked. Reps want controlled, legal immigration. Dems believe in abortion rights. Reps, both Christian white and Hispanic to name a couple groups, hold value in sanctity of life. Dems are increasingly moving towards Socialism. Reps are pro capitalism, which is why Florida went Trump because many are from Cuba and Venezuela which are terrible socialist examples. Dems are secular, reps hold religion as a pillar the country’s culture. Many just hate the dem endorsed hard left culture in our media and entertainment industry while dems want to take it further.

I could go on. Try, try to emphasize with the other side. It’s not “all trump voters are horrible bigots” it’s rather people with a different set of values that only Reps can give them. Trump just happens to be the only choice for Reps, faults and all.

If America wants to even remotely compete with China and India for the top economy ten years from now we should be looking to double if not tipple the population of America.  A lot of wide open spaces in America to bring in immigration.

I agree, increasing it is good. But do it by the book. Go through the system. That’s the difference between both parties. Not trying to convince anybody but provide both sides.

None of this actually outweighs the crimes he committed towards his country. And I mean the other crimes additionally to his financial and constitutional crimes. It is obvious that the majority wants expanded social programs, yet he did the opposite, he killed hundred of thousands of people in a pandemic he actively sabotaged by downplaying it and going against scientists, he irreparably damaged the US' reputation among all of its allies, he pulled out of the WHO, he pulled out of of the Paris climate agreement, he pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal which is widely regarded as a mutually beneficial deal for everyone including Israel, he put back efforts against climate change again by discrediting scientists, he encouraged and emboldened white supremacist groups, he sent federal agents to illegally suppress protests, he sabotaged the election and democracy itself by dismantling the USPS, a lot of his (ex-)advisors are under criminal investigation despite his promises to "drain the swamp", he spent billions on a border wall nobody wants or needs that is effectively useless and hurtful to landowners, he gave billionaires tax cuts for no reason, his spending in general is out of control and the country's debt is at a record high. The economy you speak of isn't fine. The only thing that is fine is billionaires and the stock market since he saw to that, while the poorest and the middle class are still suffering, now more than ever.

This is just from the top of my head. That's another real problem with him. He said so many lies and did so many horrible things you cannot even count them all. He lied in office literally thousands of times. There is no Democratic or Republican President ever he is comparable to. He is simply by the sheer sum of his misdeeds the worst President in the history of the country and the foreseeable future.

And even with all of that, half of the country still sided with him. Imagine that. Speaks volumes of the way people see the Democrats.

It's easy to despise anything if you don't like facts. And we already know that the majority of people who vote Trump don't like facts, or else they wouldn't vote for the liar in chief.

The Associated Press is reporting 99% of the votes in Michigan and has Biden up by ~61k, which is up from what he had a few hours ago.
Barring a huge, damn near unanimous swing in those final votes for Trump, it’s looking more and more like Michigan might go to Biden.

Edit: AP is also calling Arizona for Biden.

It's crazy how close the election is right now.

Looks like we won't get any results today. Time to go to bed.

Pennsylvania the new Florida

This is the closest election we’ve had since Bush/Gore in 2000.

Which is just plain sad considering how far apart the polls were.  So much for fixing the polls from 2016, if anything, there was an even bigger error this year...

Is it though? The popular vote gap is already 3m, which is on par with the last election. And this time the person with the most votes might actually win!

350k lead in Pennsylvania for Trump.

Since the last time I checked, 53k more ballots got counted, Biden's share was 87% (46k).
