In what paralel universe ?

The universe where she has been on the money for the past 3 years

How is your Earth called there ?

She's as accurate as Michael Pachter's sales predictions for the Switch.

Her sources has been nearly perfect for a while now though. She has gotten so much right, such as when direct airs, smash ultimate name and concept, pokemon lets go, the animal crossing direct, and more. After typing this out, I found this. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/189706-nintendo-switch/77454187.

this shows that she knows her stuff and it doesn’t even include 2019 stuff

No she hasn't.

Regardless, I'm still waiting for where the original statement was made that 2020 would be comparable to 2017.

She has going by my last post, and that was a pre COVID statement

Ok you forgot to mention that every insider stated that a direct will come out every week for 6 month, so after telling all vague informations you have, you can always hit a spot. So every year we got that Pokémon and Smash would come to the Switch (which isn't even a surprise, those title had to come to the Switch).

She also said for eg that we shouldn't expect anything coming from Rockstar, days before the anouncement of L.A. Noire which is a Rockstar game.

Or, the main topic of this thread: https://nintendosoup.com/emily-rogers-claims-2020-will-be-a-great-year-for-nintendo-switch/

I can predict that Nintendo will announce at least 2 big games by the end of the year, one for late october/mid november and one for december. But that's just because how Nintendo always do.

Im not understanding, she hit the spot for the animal crossing direct, how does that include every other insider? We are talking about one, who doesnt predict something like a direct every week lol. She didnt give vague information about pokemon and smash. She said that pokemon 2018 would have similarites to pokemon go and that it would be announced before may ends. She said smash would be the "ultimate" title and would have no cut characters. Its not just that smash and pokemon would come to switch. I have never seen rockstar mentioned from her so please link that. And as i said above, that statement was a pre covid statement and was also "in her opinion".

You could predict that nintendo will announce games, but you arent giving specific information. Judging by the start of your post, it seems like you just dislike all insiders no matter how accurate they are. In that case, I cant help you

Not at all, I do trust some reliable insiders. Which she is not.

"She predicted an Animal Crossing direct" yep, in february, a special Direct one month prior the release of one of the most anticipated titles of the year on the Switch, how surprising to have its own direct ?

And I am not even the only one who states that:

https://nintendosoup.com/emily-rogers-pokemon-switch-announcement-not-far-away/

When it comes to rumors, Emily Rogers has gotten a few things right before Nintendo Switch launched, but the insider also has a fair share of things that didn’t materialize, such as the return of Mother 3. In other words, take all rumors with a pinch of salt, until Nintendo officially announces the game.

Once again, as for the Mediums or Fortune-tellers, being sufficiently vague and giving a lots of infos make you sure you would be right at one point.

You missed out on some information dont you think. She didnt just say pokemon would happen. Also, she knew the specific week for the animal crossing direct, not that it would just happen. I am telling you stuff that she KNEW, and yet you are just downplaying all of it. This shows that you do have some issues with insiders.

As this shows, his "fair share of things that didnt materialize" is 5, maybe 6, most being from years ago. Such an unreliable leaker!!!!

I bought my Switch relatively recently (around christmas last year), so lack of games to play is not a problem for me (though I don't think it should necessarily be a problem even for people who bought it at launch, unless your taste is incredibly limited), but I think it would be nice to know more about certain announced games such as BotW2, Bayo 3 and MP4 :P

I dont get this side of the forum. I just don't. Switch has a shit ton of games on it, so wtf dark abyss are you guys talking about?

Agree, if you can't find something to play on a console with 3000 plus games, surely it's on the individual

Damn it's really gonna be August and we STILL don't know shit about what's happening this Holiday season. At this point this Covid-19 excuse isn't going to work anymore on why Nintendo hasn't said anything, they should already know whether or not a game will release in 2020 or not this late in the game, and any game slated for 2020 at this point should be pretty much complete for the most part, Nintendo not unveiling anything at this point is unjustifiable.

Has there ever been a year for Nintendo where it was August and we still didn't know what games were releasing for the Holiday season?
