Forums - Gaming Discussion - Best graphics from 6th gen

Some time ago I made a thread about what games had the best graphics in the 7th gen (PS3/360/Wii). I got a lot of responses, and we made a very good list of games. You can see it here.

Now we're going into 6th gen. We had Sony with Playstation 2, Nintendo with the GameCube, Microsoft with the original Xbox and Sega with the Dreamcast. The question is still the same: What games had the best graphics for their system?

Some info about this thread:

- You can pick more than a game per system.

- You don't need to list games for all system.

- I will update the list as soon as I see a new reply.

- The game should have good graphics for the system. It doesn't need to be the whole gen.

That said, let's make our list. Also, thanks again for all the replies I got in the 7th gen thread.

Around the Network

PS2:
Silent Hill 3
FF12
God of War II
SMT Nocturne (actually also was pretty impressive)

Gamecube:
Resident Evil 4.

I didn't own an Xbox but I was always jealous of certain games.

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay

Doom 3

Black (also on PS2)

Probably Thief Deadly Shadows on XBOX

I am going to say Wind Waker, based solely on the fact that it has aged so well that I don't feel like I am playing a gen 6 game.

Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-5643-2927-1984

Animal Crossing NH Dream Address: DA-1078-9916-3261

ZOE 2 is timeless and always looked great so thats my pick

Only had a PS2 so no comment on the other systems.
