This year is really going down to the drain, isn't it?

I mean, I get it.But this histeria for a virus that isn't even THAT dangerous.... Common cold kills more than it.Again, I get it, but it just feels like an exageration...

It hasn't been that dangerous because thousands of people have been working precisely so people like you don't have to worry that much about it. The current efforts aim for a proper contention of the virus, so sanitary authorities have to deal with patients in the order of thousands instead of the potential millions. And it has worked in China, South Korea and it's bound to work everywhere else with the necessary actions.

And I'm grateful for them. But this is the US, not Italy or China. In the US there are only 500 cases as far as I know, and the disease isn't as dangerous as some we had and have.

With some preventive measures, such as preventing people with symptoms of the disease from entering, it should be safe enough.Alas, the ESA dosen't agree with me.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Over 1000 cases confirmed in the US. It doubled in like 2 days.

You mean only 1000 cases.Oh, and don't misunderstand me, it's going to be much higher. It's a serious situation, but it's not the pandemic people make it to be.

Well some people might be overreacting, but its all about trying to contain the threat. Better safe than sorry. 3% might not sound that bad, but 3% of 7 Billion is quite the number.

While I do still believe that E3 didn't need to be cancelled.I can agree to what you are saying.

Honestly, E3 being cancelled this year I feel comes at a really bad time. There was nothing they could do about it and it sucks that it had to be dropped off the calendar year but I can't help but feel that this is it. If studios get through this year without any issues with software/ hardware numbers, then E3 is going to seem less relevant to them.

They likely will if the virus is still spreading, people will prefer playing games at home instead of going out or travelling :P

Just got the email from the ESA. E3 is cancelled.

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

Sounds like a normal year.

One thing that will be interesting to see is if the publishers will talk betwenn themselves so that they will avoid doing their digital conference at the same time(at the same hour, I mean). In another words, if they will join forces without the ESA.
