No, the market is saying the full Switch is the better value. That doesn't mean the Lite is ghetto or shitty. It's simply the base model of a great console.  The fact that Lite sales spiked when the full Switch sold out bears that out.

This might turn well actually, if the shortages are not too long... I am sure that a significant amount of these 63000 Lite buyers could just not wait, and they will probably buy a OG switch when it is available again 3 months later.

They moved some to Vietnam to avoid possible us sanctions/ tariffs on Chinese made products
