China: 50% of males smoke vs 2% of females.

Is there something else going on?

Smoking was an early theory because of the male female disparity in China. Men have more of the receptor that the virus binds to. Anything that hinders the binding would offer some protection.

Oh I remember when the Latino vote was supposed to hand Hillary the presidency, so she sat on her fat ass and sent Bernie to campaign on her behalf. The dem establishment love to win votes on demographics, identity politics and anything that doesn't involve real work or progressive policies. Not to mention, if this virus killed young people and spared the old, an article like this one would be insensitive and deserving of an outrage.

Yeah.  There are lots of people who spread inaccurate information because they lack self control and critical thinking skills.  Those people should be called out, and probably should not be president.  

The site provides where they're getting their information from.  Feel free to check department of justice statistics.  They're readily available for you.

The MSM and other individuals aren't the damn president of the United States.  He is held to a higher standard because of his position.

Oh, and the articles link back to the source of their correction.  I mean, you did read the link, didn't you?

Some individuals believe the President is the most powerful and impactful and therefore seem justified in going after them.

Some individuals believe the MSM is the most powerful and impactful and therefore seem justified in going after them.

Maybe there shouldn't be any MSM or a President since both are so influential and can only be lead by flawed human beings?

I don't think either of you got the point about fact checking the fact checks. You didn't explain who fact checks those facts, and who fact checks them?

I agree, though what's complicated is letting one get away with it for whatever reason, but not the other. That's the problem.

The reaction is going to be proportionate to the visibility of the statement and the influence of the person giving it.  I think it's perfectly reasonable that statements given on a national stage by arguably the most powerful person in the world are going to be more heavily scrutinized than information from just about anywhere else.  Just like something posted by the New York times should be scrutinized much more heavily than someone's personal blog.
