The game looks great in very dark areas, plus those red flares are very bright in HDR, very cool
Also all those lovely dust effects in the air
Flash lights look just as good when others use them
Ridiculous!
From light to shadow, looks perfect

I got to the water last night, damn!
I did notice some weird temporal? effect.
Is that part of some reconstruction technique? You see it a bit when turning normally, at full speed Ellie is copied over the water reflection.
I also managed to bug out the lighting engine.
I thought my tv blew up lol. Suddenly full frame peak brightness as if looking straight into flash photography.
Waiting to see the screen caps of Ghost of Tsushima and also Death Stranding in PC on the best possible quality by CGI.

Watched DF's take on Death Stranding PC. Not much to see other than DLSS advantages, slightly higher texture detail distancing and higher frame rate.
Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see
So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"
Pretty late adding these, but here's a few of my caps from TLOU2.
Wish I'd remembered to take more. A few shots in the latter half of the game are unreal.

Oh yeah indeed those npc's did look a bit too much like misplaced Betesda assets.
This PS4-Screenshot is by VGChartz-user "John2290" :) My Respect for Ghost of Tsushima and this user, so beautiful.

it looks great but it also looks like the light is shining through his chest
Research shows Video games help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot
CGI-Quality said: Admittedly, I haven't picked up Tsushima yet, but I do have some Death Stranding stuff... - images While not a huge step over the PS4 version, there are still geometric and texture improvements that stand out enough to feel like an upgrade, and all while at higher resolutions and much higher framerates (I get a solid 144Hz in 1440p, for example)! |
The immersion that game had with the realistic environments is unmatched.
Did you ever take a long walk through pure nature without any roads or other people in sight so it clears your mind and gives you a feeling of peace and being one with the earth?
I think Kojima wanted to recreate that kind of feeling for Death Stranding.
