Lol this sort of thing happens for every big game beta and release. I expect there to be issues at launch too.

Finally got my invite email :) And installed both PC (Steam) and Xbox (using Insider Hub) versions. Will try to play a bit now :)

I can't get my Halo code for whatever reason. I got the email saying I got in, with a link to the Halo Waypoint site on the email. Finally got the site to load after 25 minutes of waiting, but the site has nothing, no messages on the notification center saying that I got into the Flight like I have gotten for previous flights for MCC.

Edit: Ok, looks like the part of the site you get the codes from is still down, even though the site is up. Hurry it up and fix this 343!

Send me your code and I’ll fix it for you ?

Closing in on spending 10 hours in Flight Simulator. Crazy how fast time flies. (get it?)

Did all the landing challenges and lo and behold I'm getting speeds up to 30 Mbit/s now. Might actually finish downloading some of the bigger world updates now.

I need to take a break from this :) Infinite MP feels SO good. Like seriously, this is def. closer to Halo 3 than anything else in terms of feelings; I'm really happy with what I see.
Playing it on PC and Xbox (tried on both my Series X/S) and it looks gorgeous too. very slick.
Will take a break and work a bit... Then back to destroying bots

Played around 8 rounds now I think. I really like the feeling of it and the sound is awesome.

Hopefully, but this is just a Multiplayer map so it's likely just for their Infection mode.

That lil blob giving me Halo Wars 2 vibes though.

Flood are far more interesting than Prometheans. There were many issues with Halo 5 and one of them was the fact you spent like 80% of it fighting Prometheans. Fighting "robots" just isn't fun.

I agree with the issues in Halo 5. But I  would not blame them on the Prometheans. Prometheans are amazing and I really prefer to have any storyline around them than the flood. The implementation in Halo 5 was more the problem I think. Books and lore about the promotheans are amazing.

I do think Prometheans were improved in Halo 5 but I also almost always prefer fighting organic enemies to robotic ones, as long as they're more Halo CE Flood and not Halo 3 Flood, Halo Wars 2 nailed the atmosphere and made Flood creepy again but we don't know how well they'll play in an FPS, in particular I want to fight that Flood with the whip arm, Lol.

Flood is also my favourite enemy in Halo from a lore perspective, they're so creepy and intimidating, Lol. I too hope that most of Halo Infinite is The Banished though because I love those guys too, wrap up the evil AI storyline and I would accept Prometheans more in the future if Didact returned to lead them or they became more like side-enemies casually protecting certain Forerunner structures, like the Sentinels.

Of course in the games, they're just incredibly numerous and annoying lol

Which Halo should I play with my son next Halo 3 Odst, Halo Reach or Halo 4?
