Does anyone else think, with Halo Infinite being a "10 year plan", they can have a dedicated team working on Halo Infinite content, and then the rest of 343I make other games? They would probably stick with the Halo IP, but do spinoff games and such. Seems like waste if 343i as a whole is working on Halo Infinite for the entire gen and not other games as well.

I have no idea how accurate this might be, but supposedly they are already working on another game.

"The job listing is for a Senior Producer to work from 343's headquarters in Redmond, Washington. The producer would work in engineering for the Core Services division of the company. While 343 doesn't say specifically what the project they'll be working on is, they are willing to say that it's a brand new game in the Halo universe."

I think it should be changed to black as well. MS has been officially phasing out the green and white logo for awhile now, the startup screen for Series S|X has the new black and white logo instead. Logo color change should be reflected here on VGC. It’s a shame that the game cases for next-gen aren’t using the new black and white color scheme as well, the current ones are too similar to XB1 cases.

Nah while the new logo looks alright, Xbox is green :P

Like original Xbox was black but had the green circle, X1X with green Project Scorpio text and Series X has a green inlay at the top... green is the heart of Xbox imo. Black and white are a bit boring colours but a touch of green  makes them cool.

Fucking hell I hope Wasteland 3 will get a Series X patch. How is it possible a game like this feels like it's running sub-30fps on Xbox One X? Really hurting my enjoyment of the game..

Still got a few games left to play in MCC. Looking forward to Halo 2 Anniversary which I only played for 3 or 4 levels so far.

Mini-review for Carrion.

Fun Metroidvania-like game that lets you play as the monster for a change.

Besides combat, the game also features some puzzles. They aren't too complex though. The monster has basically three different forms, each with their own unique powers and you can change between them if you gather more or less biomass. Sadly, I think the 3rd form is the worst. Navigating can become really difficult as your monster is huge at level 3 and fitting through tight spaces can be tricky. Also the level 3 powers aren't as good as some others. Basically, the 2nd form is the best for combat. Against the drones for example, the 3rd form is completely useless.

My biggest issue might be the exclusion of a map. It can be really difficult to find your way once you have all the abilities and go back to previous levels to get to new areas or try to find the collectable power ups. The game isn't that long either, clocking in at around 4 hours.

7.5/10

Seems like someone jumped the gun. Gears Tactics is available on GamePass for Xbox already. My brother booted it up a minute ago.

How did everyone do with the game fest reward thing? I finished just shy of 10,000 at 9,870. Should’ve squeezed out another 130 for a clean finish lol. Nothing has been added to my rewards account yet though.
