Wow people are still very salty about the Bethesda thing. I am not even brave enough to post anything in those thread as it will just become a shit show anyway.

But at first it was: "their games suck, we don't care"...
And now that they finally realize that games will be exclusives they are either bitching Spencer for being "such a bad person" or talk nonsense about the 7.5b$ they need to recoup to grasp on some very unlikely hopes that games will not be exclusives.

How is nobody realizing that they do not need to? They are all talking like Microsoft would lose so much money by making it exclusives when it is not at all the case.

Microsoft does not need to recoup 7.5b$. While you can argue about the value of the assets they got (IPs, Games, Studios, potential revenues in the future, etc...) and probably agree that this is not 7.5b$ worth, it is probably worth 4 or 5b$. They had to pay an extra on top of it to secure it and this is what they would basically need to "recoup"... And like any deal, this is about potential revenues and growth at the end which is guaranteed 100% with those games/studios...

Just want MS to announce Starfield and Wolfenstein 3 (Bethesda’s next projects) as official lifetime exclusives so people on the other side can move on already. The Game Awards are the likely place for that.

I wouldn't mind if Wolfenstein 3 were multiplatform. It would be sad if ps gamers missed out on the end of the trilogy.

Don't be, By the time it releases all the PS gamers would of upgraded their gaming PC to a 3080 and looking down on the Series X peasants.

Regarding the poll, Morrowind is what I picked. The more likely to happen would actually be both Fallout games since next will likely not see a mainline Fallout game, so they'll pull a Skyrim and push the older Fallout games while Elder Scrolls gets the mainline game.

Lost Odyssey needs a sequel, and Banjo 3 would be preferable since the N64 games have been re released 2 times now (360 Arcade and Rare Replay).

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

Preorders are currently possible again in Germany (seemingly only at Media Markt and Saturn). I just preordered my XSX.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the XSX Club.

Am I the only one thinking even though we are green now, that Xbox should be represented by black in VGC's next generation charts? I really feel it would look really classy if we became "Team Black" instead of Team Green.

Why?

I'm partial to monochromatic color schemes when it comes to our technology.

MS has done well it advetsing the Series S and X so far. I keep seeing the launch trailer ad of the taco bell ad for Sony im only seeing the burger king ad for the PS5.

Does anyone else think, with Halo Infinite being a "10 year plan", they can have a dedicated team working on Halo Infinite content, and then the rest of 343I make other games? They would probably stick with the Halo IP, but do spinoff games and such. Seems like waste if 343i as a whole is working on Halo Infinite for the entire gen and not other games as well.

Now ain't really the time to ponder what 343 might get up to once they ship Infinite. If they don't absolutely nail that game, there's gonna be some serious changes on the horizon for them.

Infinite MP is different than the campaign apparently so I think 343i will be divided into a MP and SP teams. MP team continues to expand on Infinite and SP team works on Halo 7 and possibly spinoffs.
