It was Phil Spencer who started saying this. Still not sure why he thought it would be a good idea to say something like this when it's quite obvious to anyone with a basic tech knowledge that this isn't the case.

As for Halo rumor, even though it is verified on Era I still don't see it happening. At least multiplayer part will definitely release on Xbox One. Microsoft won't drop 50m userbase for Halo multiplayer. Series X will probably reach 10m at best by the end of next year, so shrinking the biggest part of your potential audience for a big multiplayer game (and given that MP would be free, it's quite obvious that it will generate A TON of money) is not something that makes sense for MS from business point of view.

But he's a sucker who played Unravel Two, a game completely ruined by awful list of achievements. I played it on my wife's account :P
