Also seeing the multiplayer maps in the campaign was kinda off-putting and served little purpose. Honestly not sure why they did that, maybe to save some time? Lol And Reach had some whack maps too

I'm really not enjoying this thread the last week or so. It feels like "console warriors mourning their defeate" thread.
I won't be bothered if I'm not able to access FF16 on release date on Xbox. FF13 was good at best. Its sequels were OK. FF15 is the most over rated game this gen.
There are many RPGs from Japan I'd be looking for before FF. Persona, Dragon Age, Yakuza, etc. Even Tales of games were way better than the latest FF games.

Would be surprising if Capcom was interested after how SFV situation went for them.
I'm not sure if MS is making Nintendo-ish games or not, but I guess it would be a better direction for them rather than to go after Sony AAA style stuff. They just need to up the quality and they are gonna be fine even though some people will still be bitching about why Microsoft doesn't release AAA cinematic experiences. To be quite honest, no matter what anyone says, with GamePass, it's not gonna be easy for them to go after Sony exclusive type of game. Nothing wrong with it. Because MS doesn't need to. They just need to make good games and that's it. Mario does not cost much for Nintendo but they polish it to be a truly outstanding experience which is way better than any Sony game.
Oof. That sucks.
SqEnix has been in bed with Sony the entire gen. Hell, they are the worst Japanese publisher when it comes to Xbox. They have only released three games day and date on Xbox if I'm not mistaken - FFXV, Type-0 HD and KH3. Back in 2017 or 2018, PS4 had like 20 games from them at that time. It's good that they are bringing stuff to Xbox even a bit late, but I wouldn't be surprised if they continue delaying Xbox releases even without Sony's paychecks, but just because they are assholes. |
Squeenix's reaction has always been to use the PS consoles as their "low risk" platform and port only their big flagship titles to others, which is why the game we did get were only the big flagship ones. If you expect to see something like World of FF in Xbox, I have a beachfront condo in Kansas to sell to you.
Even then, they are moneyhatted easily. Remember the Last Remnant?
I been saying I can see MS undercutting Sony by $50, doubt any more than that. This whole price announcement shit is crazy lol we’re 3 months away... Someone anyone make a fucking move!

Yeah, it is getting ridiculous. I'm sure, that retail and online stores are getting desperate to get the pre-orders rolling.
In 2013 I preordered the PS4 in early June:
It was a very nice deal since that preorder included a 50€-coupon for DriveClub so I had to pay only 20€ for it.

Zenimax sucks. They are sitting on amazing id Tech engine which they can license to other companies and compete with UE and Epic but instead only share it between some of their studios. Seems like a waste of potential money. On the other hand, they've managed to not include MTX in their games at all until some of the recent games which deserves some respect. Too bad that they supposedly lose money on every game they make.
Get them on price MS!!! Big plus for them going forward!

Whats the point? Aren't controller like really cheap to make? Don't imagine it would shave off much. |
Hell, if they're that desperate to cut costs, why not just leave the power cable out, and say if you have a cord from an old system or tea kettle randomly laying around, you should be good to go.
Or just sell them in a box without any styrofoam or padding. People can just gamble if the console they've bought is too banged up to work. It's not like you need it working if you don't have a controller to actually play anything on it.
This guy needs to stay off the weed for a minute. The whole point of selling a new system at an attractive price, is to lure people who wouldn't usually consider your products. Basically the opposite of people who currently own Xbox systems, and obviously current controllers.
