Welp, there goes my day tomorrow @iceland @Ryuu96 @Me when we playing Grounded pimps!

Grounded is really fun

Dug my original Xbox out of retirement to help make up for the lack of Switch games for the rest of 2020; finally got around to getting it modded too, so I can now play games in progressive scan which PAL Xboxs annoyingly don't support out of the box. The component cables arrived in the mail today, and the results are a lot cleaner than interlaced mode.

I tried replaying Conker on the N64 recently but found the framerate far less tolerable than I remember, so I'm thinking about picking up the Xbox remake.

man there's so many cool ways Obsidian can continue Grounded's story and incorporate new things, the potential is really endless for something special

they've already taken inspiration from honey I shrunk the kids so imagine if they also looked at other movies like a bugs life and had a rain system that completely affects the entire map from that size and possibly even floods certain areas making you have to adapt or take cover, those rain drops would basically be like meteorites from that size. or like with antz where they're on the picnic blanket and suddenly there's just a regular human walking around which is basically a giant from that size, that could completely devastate the backyard and completely change the map if they had moments like that.

really can't wait to see how they further expand upon it and what ideas they come up with

I really want to see more of the campaign already, I have so many questions.

I wonder if when we rescue Marines we put them inside those UNSC bases, then maybe the bases will be fortified and provide us with more weapons and vehicles? Will we be able to take Marines out of the bases to use in missions? If they die is it permanent? If there any reason to keep them alive?

I want to bring my Marine bros on all the campaign missions, I want Chips Dubbo to be in one of those rescue missions, hell, lets make a rescue mission which is only Chips Dubbo, holding out on his own against dozens of Banished.

Will we be able to rescue ODST and Spartans and use them? Will there be named characters we can rescue? Such as Lasky, Halsey, etc. and escort them to one of the UNSC bases, I don't imagine we'll be able to use them but if we save any members of Osiris will we be able to use them?

I think it would be cool if we could use the bases to resupply on weapons or swap out weapons with ones we find during the campaign, also to unlock new vehicles and have them respawn.

Assassination missions better have variety, Halo Wars 2 and The Banished army in general is pretty varied, they have Elite leaders, Grunt leaders, Hunter leaders, etc. I hope this Banished is just as varied and we aren't only assassinating Brutes or Elites.

Also curious about the day/night cycle, I'm not entirely sure how it could look truly dark on a Halo, given it's shape and position and the fact there doesn't seem to be any planet for it to hide behind, surely the sun simply going behind the Ring from a certain perspective would just cause an eclipse-like effect? Idk but I hope the game does have TRUE nighttime, where we have to use flashlights.

Fighting The Flood at night would be amazing for atmosphere, I low-key want Halo 2 Jackal Snipers at night for Legendary.

I actually read yesterday an article on how the Halo rings were originally to be populated by megafauna including an animal resembling a Chocobo. This... and the similarities between the Starscourge and the Flood made me wonder if we could possibly get a FFXV (even if it's dated) and HI colab, with a Chocobo somewhere in the Halo and a note calling the Flood "Starscourge".

I know it's somewhat unrelated, but I couldn't help but draw parallels here.

Ugh, I really hate NIS:

Putting the game on Gamepass PC, but refusing to port it to Xbox. NIS hasn't given Xbox a single game all generation. One of only a four JP publishers that hasn't released a single game on Xbox I think.

Shhh! You don't want them here.

Them and Idea Fuck, the lot of them. Eeesh!

FS2020 on Steam was a matter of time
Hopefully Bleeding Edge gets a proper update and player count boost.

Yeah I think this game deserves more attention but I must say, despite player numbers falling I've never had to search for a match more than a minute.
