Fable, Avowed, and SoD 3 were CGI trailers, we likely won’t see SoD 3 again until 2022 and i predict a 2023 release date. The game is using Unreal Engine 5 and I’m pretty sure that they are going to build it from the ground up and use new tech/assets to build the game.

Still not sure why Shika compares Halo with Horizon which isn't a launch title and will maybe run with 30fps.

Honestly, more than anything, I'm utterly baffled by the lack of applause MS gets for just how awesome GamePass is. It's by so far the best deal in gaming, it's not even in the same league as anything else, and it's only getting better. You would think that everyone would be clamoring for that kind of service on whatever their platform of choice is, but instead it's either largely ignored, or talked down, because "MS games aren't worth 60 bucks." It's a joke, really.

Think I might step away from this site for a while leading up the release of Series X tbh. I find that seeing people constantly shit on things that I think are awesome just dampens my enjoyment of them, and I'm kind of sick of it at this point. There's plenty of other objectively garbage things happening in the world for me to also get grief about my hobbies. I just don't need it.

Yeah, certain people already managed to get most Xbox players away from this site and they do their best to have only themselve to talk to.

I made a similar post after E3 presentation some years ago :D Was really excited about it all and then came here to see everyone complaining about everything.

Difference is this time it seems most of us Xbox gamers are happy about the show. Really no reason not to be, there's a good number of cool games coming to game pass, surely something for everyone. 

Sonyboys have been rattled for a while, best to stay out of other threads and let them kick and scream for a while.

I'd say it was a 7/10.

One hour was a little short, even when packed with games. Not enough was shown from the big games (other than Halo). Even the CGI trailers were kinda vague (Everwild, Fable, Avowed).

On the plus side, all the stuff being able to play on Day 1 via GamePass is awesome. There are definitely more games coming.

If I wasn't already an Xbox fan and knew about what else will release in the near future, I probably wouldn't be that hyped either. I seriously hope they will show more stuff once they finally announce Series S and the pricing of both consoles.

I’m a little bummed out so many projects are still “early development”. How many years since SoD2, Forza Motorsport and Horizon 4? The Initiatives game not even ready for a CG reveal is also telling. I’m not used to MS studios taking it easy and going so slow in development.

Also the double standard of people complaining about CG trailers....didn’t Nintendo “win” E3 2017 by showing a logo for Metroid Prime 4? We don’t have to see gameplay for every game. I was blown away by Halos tight gameplay and open world and was equally blown away by Avowed.

I get what je6s trying to say but  sure Microsoft could have put together highly edoted gameplay trailers for stuff like Fable.

The trolling I see outside of this thread (not exclusively talking here), twitter, YT, reddit, etc is exhausting af.
