Side note, how is Gears 5 since Rod left? I heard a lot of complaining about the MP since launch but I'm not really aware of how it's doing now except they just released a big update, kinda curious if it has got any better since Rod's departure.

I'm not sure if Rod ever had much to do with Gears multiplayer. But I read mtx stuff is better since he left.

Multiplayer director Ryan Cleven left TC and I read they've changed multiplayer towards old-school Gears since then, trying to give fans what they want. Which is good but I haven't played online versus since 2019. I did replay the campaign couple of weeks ago.

Should probably give another shot to multiplayer now.

Oh boy!!!

"Update: Microsoft has provided TrueAchievements with a statement confirming that the removal of the 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscription was not an error.

A Microsoft spokesperson said, "At this time, Xbox has decided to remove the 12 months Xbox Live Gold SKU from the Microsoft online Store. Customers can still sign up for a one month or three month Xbox Live Gold subscription online through the Microsoft Store." Unfortunately, the company did not specify the reason why it has decided to delist the 12-month option. "

Imagine if Ms announced a new studio during the pre show.

Also Phil confirmed that Xbox Game Studios 1st Party developers have a choice on whether they want to make next gen exclusives or not.

That's good to hear.

Well, we can safely say that Series X will have absolutely zero trouble running that exact Unreal Engine 5 demo with those speeds, these consoles are looking like they have a huge amount more streaming data than needed, good news.

I have been saying that since the start, but no there was no deal between epic and sony plus we MUST believe sweeneys inconclusive tweets

Pre-show focused on 3rd parties and the main show focused on exclusives would be best.

But I'll set my expectations for the pre-show low and assume it'll be world premieres of indies, it will at least be nice to get some updates on already announced titles, excluding Hellblade, Everwild and Halo Infinite as they will be in the main show.

Love how Phil tells everyone to be quiet and incomes Aaron, he can't help himself.

Pre-show for updates of known games like SoT, Grounded, Psychonauts, The Medium etc. And main event for new stuff 1st or 3rd party, would be my choice.
