Starting to feel the burn on AC Odyssey. Good God, I can't imagine how much bigger Valhalla has to be. I'm on the second part of the last DLC 1000'ed main story. Did like majority of the ?s too, minus like 4 in the last region. |
Haven't had the opportunity to pump in too many hours into Origins yet, but If I don't pick up my pace I'll be delaying playing Odyssey till after Elden Ring and Tiny Tina. I may also be playing Origins wrong, if there is such a thing. It's my first Assassin's Creed to ever play and I find myself easily sidetracked. I can spend hours just hunting down Lions, Hippo's, and ambushing the cargo transfers for resources to do my upgrades. I also like shoving some of the innocent people around. I just barely got this achievement yesterday. And I'm already 30 hours in. I feel like your 170 plus hours will be matched. I'm really enjoying my gameplay and hope Odyssey is just as good. I will most likely play something in between the titles to try and avoid burn-out. |
lol yeah I pretty much played how you are playing, very easily distracted with side content. I will say my hours are inflated on Origins and Odyssey due to not quitting and leaving it on. I think Origins was around 80 hours total, and so far with Odyssey around 120 even though it says like 200 for me now.
I went straight from Origins to Odyssey, which I was somehow able to do, but there's no way I'm going to Valhalla until the DLC drops in March at the earliest. I guess JRPG panty sims have given me that extra stamina. :)
I remember Unity being the first one I actually played by myself and that one had a lot of collectibles. Then syndicate and then the RPGs. And yeah for that quest i think it took me awhile as well to get back into it. I pretty much cleared the entire map and all locations before the level 12 main quest. I would clear an area, and then move on to the next zone. And I kept doing that to where I was level 40 and the main quest was level 12. Unfortunately, this made me have to go back to a lot of the same locations to do side quests. Because I already did them before it stretched the game out even longer.
I'm going to need some faster completion games after Odyssey for sure.
