Sacred 2: Fallen Angel must have been added to BC list recently. I glanced over the new titles a few weeks ago but I must have missed it. It's basically an open-world Diablo game for those interested. I took some screenshots of a couple of guys' youtube gameplays. I will be snagging this one up.

A hidden gem.

Played a fair bit of Scared 2 back in the day, it's a good online co-op game. Just some tips though:

-It's a huge time sink, takes forever to get to max level.
-Plan your whole build ahead of time or your character will eventually be unplayable (look up online guides).
-Certain parts of the console version are broken, like blacksmithing, so don't invest in that etc..

343 excuse for not having dedicated playlist is complete bs. Halo 5 had more playlist at launch then this. If anything, this will cause players to find something else to play because they are tired of being forces to play modes they don't care for.

Oh 343, please take as long as you need. You've only had.. *checks notes* ..5-6 years and unlimited funding so far. Wouldn't want to put any undue pressure on you to get it right near launch, after already having a whole year delay to get it right.

Did Era assign it's members some kind of homework essay? Tell us why you're naive in 300 words or more...

Yeah and if Halo fans already hate that they are forced to play game modes they aren't in the mood for even if they really like them from time to time what will the average gamer think who just wants "deathmatch"? Has to be super annoying for those to have Oddball or CtF matches all the time lol. They will lose players with this which will make it much worse for the player count especially over the long run.

But hey, we will get some SWAT and stuff after the holidays! Not sure why this even needs more than 5 minutes to implement and less content won't help to get good reviews but whatever...

Seems like Halo fans have to tell 343 every single day how the game is supposed to be or they aren't be able to do anything useful lol

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

So...nobody doesn't wanna add a slayer playlist....but it's not simple...even tho slayer is in the game...and fiesta showed us that playlists can be quickly turned on and off in the game....

How exactly is this supposed to make sense to anybody?

The only way that I can read this, is they won't immediately greenlight a slayer playlist, because they are really that scared of everyone abandoning the non-slayer playlists, and they fear that this will make completing weekly challenges - which they already see as a long term problem in need of fixing - an even bigger issue.

This begs a few questions...
1. How fucking low did they think their player numbers would be as a f2p Halo game?
2. What is the reality of their actual player numbers right now?
3. If 343 doesn't believe that traditional Halo objective modes are well liked enough to maintain a healthy player base on their own...why spend any time/resources on them at all?

Reading both the posts, it seems to me it's somewhere between it not being as simple as 'flipping a switch' due to some backend issues plus there's likely some pressure from business execs to not split the playlists yet.

They need constructive criticism, Reddit Halo is a shithole right now and showing exactly why 'Gamers' are often mocked, Lol.

You are right it probably isn't as easy as we think it is. But taking weeks to set separate Slayer and objective modes, seems a bit long to get them setup and implemented into the game.

The reason is right here:

"The launch playlists were setup as they were to take a measured approach. We have UI limitations with the game right now in the way and number of playlists that are exposed. We have complex and not-ideal progression and challenge systems intertwined in playlists and modes that are not necessarily trivial to de-couple and change. (yes the entire challenge/progression system needs a lot of work - something the team is acutely aware of and prioritizing).

...

We are re-evaluating what it would take to potentially just start with a 'vanilla Slayer' playlist as a shorter term addition until the more robust offering is ready. I think the main hurdle that needs to be addressed and may require more time than is feasible before the holiday break is the knock on effect to challenges and needing to also re-assess 'quick play' and what that becomes. Historically, a Slayer only playlist and an Objective only playlist has always resulted in the Obj playlist quickly becoming unhealthy - but maybe we inevitably have no choice but to go down that route until more robust systems are available (note I am not a MP or systems designer)."

4 days to campaign. Tagging the thread. Howdie.

Anyone who tested sacred 2. Is it now working with out lag? Back in x360 era it was 15 fps super laggy experience. Good game and i wish it works now.
