Switch Online is still shit.
It should be free and these games plus N64, Gamecube, and Wii games should be available via a Virtual Console accessible to all Switch owners.
Breath of Fire 2 is fantastic tho, its always a welcome addition.

Sure the matchmaking in games still sucks compared to competitors. Like what is the deal with not being able to enter grand prix races with a friend in Mario Kart against other people, that is so terrible it blows my mind. When my brothers and I play on occasion we are forced to just race against ourselves and the CPU. For one of Nintendo's two flagship online multiplayer games this is unbelievable.
But Switch Online is so cheap this subscription style VC alone makes it worth it. Love the new subscription model rather than having to pay jacked up prices for individual VC games. Good for Nintendo as it makes their online revenue more regular, and good for players since it's simply a better deal. I will agree that they should at least have like N64 and GB and GBA games out by now, so the amount of systems released so far is disappointing, but overall this is way better than the VC model, just needs to be more prolific in their game release. They could have easily charged double what they do if they had NES, SNES, GB, GBA, and N64 games when the online service launched. But I'm assuming they are working on getting those systems on there (just not working very hard).
I remember having lots of fun with Crystalis back in the day. Not sure if it holds up today still. Super Punch Out!! is a great addition!
Signature goes here!
Breath of Fire 2 is a classic but do understand that it is the SNES version NOT the enhanced GBA version. That means no 2x Exp, no triple money, autodash or quicksave feature. It becomes a much grindy and possibly harder game.
EDIT: I forgot to mention the SNES version had character limit that was kinda fixed in GBA version. Very strange abbreviations for items - Gold Sword = GDSD. I cant tell you how many times I had a good piece of equipment that I didn't use because of the abbreviations

It may be cheap compared to PSN or XBLA, but paid online is and always will be a scam in my personal opinion. The way I see it, locking a basic feature of modern gaming behind a paywall is anti-consumer and scummy.
Yes, VC games were overpriced on Wii/Wii U, but the selection was vastly better.
