Forums - Gaming Discussion - Rumor; Google Stadia will face to face with Amazon Gaming platform next Year

Who will win

Capitalis 3 23.08%

Google Stadia 0 0%

Amazon 2 15.38%

Alien 6 46.15%

Total:13

When 5g will be a big thing and not too expensive, cloud gaming's time will come with good latency and high data transfers

Before that, consoles/pc will still lead.

How fast this will happen will be different from country to country. Especially data caps are very different. Many countries have none at all.

But Amazon and Google will implement the " Play this game now" option under every Twitch stream and YouTube video in the future. That will push it a lot

Let them both fail. Taking ownership away can fuck off.

Yes its comeing..... but is it any good?

Microsoft and Sony just have to give us a new console = done.

Look at stadia... in every single way, it gives a worse gameing experiance than a PS4pro or Xbox One X.
Next gen, it wont even be close.
(Image quality, input delay, price of games, games library, controller, stability, data usage (caps), price& req. on internet, ect ect)

Steaming might be the future, but its def. not the "best" way to game.

Gotta be honest, I can see the difference in the full sized images, but when it shrinks to see the post, I can's see the difference.  If I had to sacrifice that much quality in return for 400 smackers I would do it.  Especially since I'm mostly playing on a 720p TV anyways.

More importantly though, we're still in the pretty early stage of this.  In five years or so, we'll have a better idea if consoles still provide a better experience.

All is well and good until they decide to pull the game from the server.

0% ownership. Pass on both.

This guy does like to moan, but he makes good points.. This is EXACTLY what publishers want.

I'm so grateful my shitpost was ignored.

Don't worry, we all love to ignore you.

Stadia v Amazon gaming? It's like watcing 2 drunk fight. Will be hilarious.

It's amazing. Affordable home computing was a revolution in 1977, a way to get away from paying for rented time on someone else's expensive mainframe. Now IT companies are trying to prod us back into paying for computer time.

The year is 2030, and a group of friends is riding in a personal Uber style Cybertruck, while playing Amazon DIGILABOBOX through 5G:

'Hey guys, remember when Amazon used to ship stuff to your house, that you actually got to keep? Man they were idiots back then!'

On the other end it is also freeing to finally get rid of all the stuff you got laying around without never using it again,if you got an emotional bond with it or when you like to replay them again i understand but also understand those that just want the experience without the physical product like going to theater or movies.
