So Nintendo Switch controller prices are insane. The cost of new joy cons and the Pro Controller are a bit much to swallow. I find the wired controller I got based on the Xbox One controller design to be quite comfy to use. The only downside is the wired aspect.

Is there anything about the official Nintendo Switch Pro controller that makes it better than a cheaper 3rd Party alternative?

Have a look at the games in the thread in my sig, or better the google docs (it's more up-to-date), might be helpful to you

Heh, I myself also had issue with the right Joycon. The stick of mine didn't click. I didn't even know it was supposed to until some game required me to. I fixed it myself by putting in a new stick. My left Joycon is totally fine. Was the first time I ever had a Nintendo thing fail on me, but yeah Nintendo wasn't in the right mood I guess when they made the right Joycon.

Update: So I sent in the Joy-Con for repair last Thursday. I received word that it was delivered to the repair center on the following Monday. That same day i receive a notice that the center is shipping me a repaired/replacement Joy-Con. I received it through UPS on Friday. Overall it was a relatively painless process. It probably helps that the repair center I sent it to was in the same state that I live in. The new Joy-Con worked right away. Now I can play the Switch is Handheld mode for short bursts. I returned the Wired Controller at Gamestop for a full refund no questions asked.

I don't have much time to play the Switch or anything else but NSMB U Deluxe is great to pick up an play. I forgot how difficult these games could be. I haven't played one since NSMB Wii 10 years ago.

You can't do anything wrong with Link's Awakening, Luigi's Mansion 3, Ori and the Blind Forest, Cuphead or Super Mario Odyssey. Haven't played Bayonetta or Ace Attorney yet, but it looks like that the games are technically pretty good and fun to play. Maybe you also want to create your own levels in Super Mario Maker 2 (also NSMBU style possible), but then you need Nintendo Switch Online to share and play other levels. There are sometimes offers to get NSO for free if you buy a specific game like Mario Maker or Tetris 99.

Finally bought my second Switch game. Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Full confession I have only finished two Zelda games before: Twilight Princess on Wii and Four Swords Adventure on 3DS. I hope I will complete this one.

Windwaker was my first Zelda game and my first Gamecube game. I gave up when you had to gather the tri-force shards. I never got more than hour through Ocarina of Time on the 3DS because I got bored/stuck. It's hard for me to complete the original Legend of Zelda without a physical map to look at. I also started Minish Cap and A Link to the Past on the 3DS but haven't completed either yet.
