DAY 1. oh my god... this new trailer..

pre order

Total media blackout for me with this title. I don't want anything to spoil it.

My guess is she sees Joel in someone else.

Now, which sales will be hurting with those releases somewhat close to eachother?

TLoU 2 releases 10 days before FF VII Remake, I don't think sales of either would suffer.

Watch Dogs Legion on the other hand...

I don't think FF7:R is going to do much damage to Watch Dogs. Ones a JRPG and the others a Ubisoft Open World game. Even with FF7 being as big as it is, I can't imagine there's going to be a massive crossover of their markets. If WD:L fails it'll be it's own fault.

TLOU 2 & FF7:R both on two discs, only other game is Red Dead Redemption 2 afaik.

Wonder what physical storage will be like for next-gen. Will the discs hold 100gb instead of 50gb? More? Or are we going to end up back in the day of 4 disc games?

That's a particularly interesting thought! And actually a real possibility now that I re-watch the trailer.

Whatever the case may be, it's clear that their relationship will be important to the game's narrative, as well it should be.

Anyway, TLOU2 was definitely the highlight of State of Play for my taste, and I'm only more interested in it now. Which is saying something because I've never been more excited about any one game before, to tell you the truth!
