switch version is now releasing after the other versions 

PS4+XBO+PC - Delayed to March 2020
Switch - Delayed to TBA.

We knew something was up and now it's confirmed. Hopefully the Switch delay won't be too much bigger than the other systems.

March is the same release window as AC it would be suicide to release the Switch version then just as well it got delayed.

Releases the game a week later for all consoles. These thirds treat Nintendo consumers like second-class citizens. If you treat as a second class citizen you will have sales in the same way.

Maybe they did not commit to a firm release date for the Switch due to Animal Crossing...?
I am not sure if even that matters because those are two really different games with different audiences in mind.

Nooooo, I hate being right sometimes. Dammit. I knew something was wrong but I'd almost managed to convince myself it'd be coming in just a month and a half.

I just hope that "Switch version coming later" doesn't become code for "Switch version cancelled" like it has for Nintendo versions in the past.

Knowing my luck that'd be right, my most wanted game getting cancelled.

Switch version will not be canceled, I can promise you that.  Regardless of what has happened in the past, especially on a failed WiiU, Switch games tend to come over when they say they will (excluding that snowboard game).  Plus Bethesda has been treating the Switch well, so I doubt it would be them to start that trend.  The Switch audience is getting too big to ignore at this point.

Now a real concern is HOW LONG do we have to wait?  A month or even two would be fine, especially if it lands in an otherwise dry release date (which might be their entire strategy).  If they delay it a year, or even worse release it in a packed month...sales will certainly suffer.

I don't think it is going to be cancelled.

But, tbh, I would be worried for another DS Remastered situation, with the game coming 6-7 months after the other versions.

Edit: On the other hand, iirc Panic Button are the ones porting the game. If they delay furthermore than the other versions, may be because they have more games to port. Or at least I can dream...
