Sure, my 4 & 6 year olds each have a 2DS and love them. Great age to get introduced to gaming.

You should do it. You should also send along a couple more cheap games at Christmas, and maybe once or twice a year after that. I assume you're in the US, where 3DS games from several years ago may as well be free. I see a bunch at Gamestop for $1 to $5. Toss them in a Christmas card, and send over to him. If they get stolen by customs, who cares? Buy a couple more and try again.

I'm fairly certain the 2ds can play DS games as well, there is a really cool Thor game from Sega based on the first Thor film, it's just a 2d beat um up type thing, they might really enjoy it.
And I would agree if you have something of value which you're not using and think someone else might... you should reach out and send them a PM :D Also sorry I got your type wrong but that's cool that you don't need the stabby stabby! I'm 4 jabs a day and it kinda sucked to get used to at first but now it's life for me and I love living.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
