I'm so proud of our cute little squids/octopi.
Some expected the first game to bomb.

I would say many =p but the idea was unique.

Funny you take those comments as a jab at Sony. I read them (and agree) as a jab at Nintendo. Nintendo isn't price friendly. I wish their games would be discounted more regularly. |
Yeah same. If they lower their prices they could have sold more.

Someone link the Splatoon sales predictions threads. I wanna travel down memory lane.
Chrkeller said: Not only does Nintendo sell their games for full price with very rare discounting, but from a development perspective I bet Splatoon 2 was far cheaper to make than GoW and/or Horizon. Nintendo has to be making some serious cash. The Switch lineup is less diverse in comparison to the ps4, so it makes sense Switch games have a high attach rate. |
While Nintendo makes good money off their SW, it isn't as much as Sony makes off of PS Plus. Nintendo is slowly catching up with Nintendo Online.
Sony could keep their SW prices high, but then less people might be willing to pay for PS Plus.
I don't find any of those milestones less impressive than the other to be honest.
that's should not be a surprise at all, Splatoon is one of the biggest Nintendo franchise...

Post a summary with the average prediction, how % were below or above the average, etc.
