From what I gather, one asshole punched a dumb asshole in the face.
What's on the weather?
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

It's honestly disgusting that people are condoning physical violence here. No matter who it is.
Bet with Intrinsic:
The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
Freedom of speech and peaceful protest are the rights of any American. I've yet to see any damning evidence to show that Ngo is "alt-right" or "alt-right adjacent" or whatever fucking new definition to justify abuse, virtual or otherwise, but if it exists, it's still inexcusable. I realize some of vgchartz's members are not from the US so maybe you guys just can't get it, and not for lack of trying.
Violence is not something "to be expected" at a protest, especially in a developed nation. It's crazy to see the excuses fly. Ngo had a brain hemorrhage, i.e., there could be lasting damage and medical bills for the remainder of his life. If he had died, would that have changed your opinion?
If a Trump supporter beat the shit out a protester at a Trump rally, would she have been "asking for it?"
Even CNN came out in Ngo's defense. Let that sink in for a moment.
I'd like to think this would be the final nail in Antifa's coffin, but I guess we'll have to wait till they actually kill a gay minority "fascist" first. This is exactly the type of ammo non-left leaning political types are looking for going into the 2020 election.

Haha i do agree on that, but ofcourse being an asshole should not be enough/justify to get punched.
Home from work with a migraineattack so weather is the least of my probs today and can barely look at this screen so i'm just gonna lay in the dark for a while but thanks for the laughs.
@Machiavellian
You can try and spin it any way you want it. As long as you keep saying he had it coming cuz he had no business being there, you are condoning the violence. the rest of your argument is invalid as you counter it by giving them the excuse.
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
I live in the northeast and there is a strong antifa presence here. These are bad human beings in their heart and mind. Nothing they do is anti-fascist in favor of decency. They are literally just terrorists. I'm mixed raced and the only way I can describe these people is full blown communist degenerate satanists. A couple people I personally know who joined antifa were literal drug addicts who choose not to work. It also bothers me that this guy who is hurt gets more attention because he is gay and Asian where straight white men attacked by antifa do not get the same treatment. This is to be fair, a bit of tokenism. That being said Communists have no right to be in America. Antifa needs to be labeled a terrorist organization and laws and punishment for their crimes need to reflect that.

Well, they're not wrong.

The attack didn't happen at a peaceful protest it happened at a clash between two groups with violent tendencies. Violence is something to be expected in any type of protest in the US there is long history of violence breaking out in peaceful protest in the US and lets not even talk about police crackdowns on peaceful protest both before during and after the civil rights movement era.

What punishment do you propose for bigots who promote violence, i.e. our dear victim?
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
This is one of those situations where violence is never ideal but the individual involved is so shitty that it's not particularly surprising.
